Protective has called Birmingham home for more than 100 years. We wanted to take part in creating a much-needed venue to move our community forward. Protective Stadium allows Birmingham to host more events, provide diverse entertainment offerings and create continued growth opportunities.

With this stadium, we are honored to be a part of Birmingham’s future by committing to a project that will put our city on the map and pull our community together.

In addition to being home to UAB Football, Protective Stadium will provide opportunities for Birmingham to host world-class sporting and entertainment events, such as the opening and closing ceremonies for The World Games 2022, while also serving as a community gathering place.
