What We Do

Protective operates through distinct business units that provide a wide array of insurance and investment products:

• Life Marketing produces and sells individual universal life, level premium term insurance and traditional ordinary life insurance products.
• Acquisitions acquires in-force blocks of insurance policies as well as other companies.
• Annuities manufactures and distributes individual annuity products.
• Asset Protection markets and distributes vehicle and recreational marine extended-service contracts and markets single-premium-credit life and disability insurance products.
• Stable Value Products sells Guaranteed Funding Agreements to special-purpose entities, markets fixed and floating-rate agreements and markets Guaranteed Investment Contracts to 401(k) and other qualified retirement savings plans.
• Corporate Services supports the business units through its Accounting, Actuarial, Customer Service, Human Resources, Information Technology, Investment and Legal departments.
