About the program

Protective’s 8-week internship program gives outstanding college students an opportunity to learn, contribute and grow with a company recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers in 2025.


Duration: June-July
Location: Corporate office in Birmingham, AL
Fields available: Actuarial, IT, business operations, accounting, internal audit and more
Compensation: $21-$22/hour for 40 hours of scheduled work per week
Housing: Paid, furnished housing based on need
