In 2019, insurance company members of the Protective Life group began serving as the administrator of certain policies issued by Great-West Life and Annuity Company, Great-West Life and Annuity Insurance Company of New York and The Canada Life Assurance Company.

This conversion includes the following life insurance solutions underwritten by Great-West and Canada Life:

• Term
• Universal life
• Whole life

Your policy features will remain the same without any action required.

If you pay premiums by credit card or ACH, your data will be converted without any action required.

If you pay premiums by check, make checks payable to Protective Life Insurance Company or Protective Life & Annuity Insurance Company (for policies in New York).

After April 1, policy correspondence like account statements and disbursements will be issued by Protective Life Insurance Company or Protective Life & Annuity Insurance Company. You many also receive tax forms next year from Great-West and Protective to support the transition.
